Gabriel is a third-generation preacher, teacher, conference speaker, worship leader, musician, producer, song-writer, recording artist, role model & mentor, with a self-evident anointing to inspire, uplift, & equip others for victorious living. He is a devoted son of Joseph & Sherri Leonard (Sr. leaders of Legacy of Glory Ministries); & grandson of the internationally renowned Dr. Ernest Leonard. Gabriel keenly sensed his calling to ministry in his early childhood, & soon began making full proof of his vocation by way of servant-leadership & academic merit.

His life is dedicated to living by example & encouraging men & women to live up to their full potential in Christ - in life. Gabriel Leonard has more than two decades of preaching, teaching & counseling experience, which enables him to reach others with grace & pinpoint accuracy. His ministry is based on a theologically grounded construct in which the anointing is not just an optional enrichment, but its defining mark. Gabriel's service is dependent upon the Holy Spirit's leadership & personal work in & upon his life. He is a member of the Executive Pastoral Board of Legacy of Glory Ministries. He also leads as Pastor of LOG's Union, NJ campus.

As a worship leader, Gabriel has an anointing to penetrate the heavens, & release God's presence & glory upon the people of God. To many, Gabriel is known   as    the   “singing    prophet.”    If  you’ve    ever
attended a live gathering, you know that music is a significant part of the message that Gabriel brings to his audience. His songwriting & creative music style is singular & refreshing. Gabriel founded the Herald Band in 2009. The band originated as a small group of worshipping musicians & singers, who shared a deep commitment to Jesus Christ as intercessory missionaries. It has been said, "this team is like a traveling convergence between earth & heaven; where they go, the heavens are open, & the spirit world reacts to their sound." The band has since grown into a collective of Christian musicians, singers, songwriters, orchestrators & producers from around the world. In the Winter of 2020, Gabriel dubbed the group "Herald Music Group" & legally established the collective as a record label, to lend itself as a world-class resource for emerging Christian artists.

Values

We believe that the foundation of our lives both personally and corporately in the community of Believers is that Jesus is Lord: He is alive and currently reigning over all we can see and all we cannot see. Jesus is the Cornerstone upon which everything is and must be built.

Therefore, in our ministry we are determined to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and of our forefathers and foremothers of old whose prophetic lives were not consumed with the future, fortune and fame of men - nor the fear of men, but instead were consumed with the feelings of the heart of the Father, God. We believe that when one attempts to please the heart of man in a ministry setting (ie: service, conference, etc.) there is no guarantee that the Father’s will may be accomplished. However, when one focuses solely on pleasing the heart of the Father, then the Father’s Kingdom can be established and His will can be accomplished.

As worship leaders we are not actors nor entertainers but rather ministers of the Gospel of Jesus, our Lord. As ministers of this Gospel, we attempt to communicate man’s heart to God and God’s heart to man. Therefore, our ministry is very free-flowing as opposed to being planned, scripted and choreographed. As such, we seek at all times to be sensitive to the feelings of the Father’s heart; the presence of the resurrected Son, Jesus; and to the activity of the promised Holy Spirit.

Honorariums

As Christian ministers and artists we are not asking for an honorarium because it is our “fee” or our “charge”. The honorarium is not based on an hourly, daily, or even weekly wage. It is, however, the second fundamental reality of redemption in the life of the Christian artist, the first being the message of Jesus’ redemptive work we freely strive to express. The second is the honorariums we receive which allow us to “redeem” the time we would otherwise necessarily use to earn a wage that would provide for our needs and the needs of those we support; whether it be our family, our band,  support team, or our humanitarian initiatives. This is the big financial picture in the life of the vocational Christian artist. The honorarium is the tangible way the Church or fanbase uses to redeem our time so that we may continue to add beauty, inspiration, and comfort to the lives of those we serve.
